Assigning a title to a variable

A variable's title appears on the map when the variable is selected. It is a convenient place to describe exactly what a variable represents.

To assign a title to a variable:

  1. Open the data pane by clicking "Show Data" in the toolbar
  2. In the variable table, double-click the "Title" column of the variable whose title you wish to edit
  3. Type a title and press Enter
