About the data pane
The data pane displays information about variables stored on the map, and is essential for performing analysis. The data pane can be revealed or hidden using the left-most button on the toolbar (labeled "Show Data" or "Hide Data").
The data pane consists of four major components:
- The selection label at the top displays a summary of selected features on the currently selected map layer
- The variable table displays a list of variables associated with the currently selected map layer
- The data table displays a list of map features and associated values for the currently selected variable
- The timeline displays a timeline for the currently selected variable
