Exporting a map layer as KML

Keyhole Markup Language (KML) is a geographic file format recognized by Google Earth and other programs.

To export a map layer as KML:

  1. Choose File > Export KML (Google Earth) and choose the desired layer
  2. Type a file name and choose a destination folder in the dialog that appears
  3. Click Export

The map layer will be exported with the colors that are currently visible.
