Converting labels to uppercase, lowercase, or title case

The case of labels can be changed as a matter of style. Changing the case of labels will not affect the underlying data (feature names or variable values).

To change the case of labels:

  1. In the Map Layers window, select the map layer whose labels you wish to change
  2. Open the Map Style window by clicking the "Style" button in the toolbar
  3. Select the "Titles and Labels" tab in the Map Style window
  4. Check the box labeled "Convert to" and choose a case style from the pop-up menu
