Increasing or decreasing the number of colors that represent the values of variables
Map features can be colored according to the values of text variables, data variables, or computed variables.
To increase or decrease the number of colors representing the values of variables:
- Open the Map Legend window by clicking the "Legend" button in the toolbar
- Select the "Text" tab (for text variables) or "Data" tab (for data variables or computed variables)
- Click and drag the bottom handle labeled "Drag for more". Drag down to increase the number of colors, up to decrease the number.
