Changing the opacity of a map layer

The opacity of a map layer can be adjusted to create a see-through effect.

To change the opacity of a map layer:

  1. Select the layer whose opacity you wish to change in the Map Layers window
  2. Adjust the opacity slider at the bottom of the Map Layers window

Note that shadow effects are applied after the opacity adjustment, so the shadow (if present) will be visible through the layer itself.
