Exporting data as JSON

JavaScript Object Notation (JSON) is a popular file format that can be easily integrated into web applications.

To export a layer's variables as a JSON file:

  1. Choose File > Export Data > Export JSON and choose the layer whose variables you would like to export
  2. Type a file name and choose a destination folder in the dialog that appears
  3. Click Export
