Changing the numeric range assigned to each color when coloring with data variables or computed variables

To assign custom ranges when coloring by data:

  1. Open the Map Legend window by clicking the Legend button in the toolbar
  2. Click the "Data" tab in the Map Legend window
  3. Select "Custom Ranges" from the pop-up menu
  4. Click the disclosure button next to the range boundary you wish to modify
  5. Enter a new value, or use the steppers to the right of the text field, to adjust the ranges
